| Reverse description | The reverse displays a centrally positioned, stylized rabbit rendered in an ornate decorative manner with swirling scroll motifs on its body, seated in profile facing right, occupying the inner field. Surrounding the rabbit is a dodecagonal inner border divided into twelve segmented panels, each containing a small relief depiction of one of the twelve animals of the Oriental zodiac cycle. The wide outer border carries the trilingual legend 'ШЫҒЫС КҮНТІЗБЕСІ' in Kazakh, 'ВОСТОЧНЫЙ КАЛЕНДАРЬ' in Russian, and 'ORIENTAL CALENDAR' in English, arcing continuously around the rim. The date '2011' appears at the upper right of the border, and the Kazakhstan Mint monogram 'KMC' is struck in the upper central field above the rabbit. |
