In the center is the State Emblem of the Republic of Kazakhstan framed by ethnic ornaments. Around the coat of arms are the inscriptions QAZAQSTAN RESPÝBLIKASY and REPUBLIC OF KAZAKHSTAN in the state and English languages, at the top of the coin is the logo of the National Bank of Kazakhstan, at the bottom is the denomination of the coin.

Reverse description
The design of the reverse of the coin is based on the traditional form of the game board, which was used in antiquity. The inscription TOĠYZQUMALAQ and the numerical designation of the year of minting are made of game balls covered with gilding. There are 162 balls on the coin. This is the amount used in the game. In the center of the reverse of the coin there is an ornamental rosette, above and below there are inscriptions indicating the metal of manufacture, its fineness and the weight of the coin.
