| Reverse description | A detailed scene depicting the traditional Kazakh circumcision ceremony (sündet toi), showing a young boy seated atop a horse at center, accompanied by a procession of figures in traditional Kazakh dress on either side. The composition is rendered in high relief with fine detailing on the costumes and figures. The legend 'SÜNDET TOI' arcs across the upper field, with the mint mark and year '2020' inscribed in the lower field. Decorative traditional Kazakh floral and geometric ornamental borders frame the scene at the lower periphery, with a dotted border running along the upper rim. |

| Additional information |
Sündet toi is the Kazakh circumcision ceremony, traditionally a major communal celebration involving feasting, music, and gifts — historically more elaborately marked than a wedding in many steppe communities. Kazakhstan's cultural commemorative program has made a deliberate effort since the 2010s to document intangible heritage through coinage, and this piece belongs to that series recording nomadic and Turkic ritual life before modernization erodes the oral traditions surrounding them.
