On the front side of the coin in the lower part there is a coat of arms of the Republic of Kazakhstan framed by a stylized image of the stadium, the inscription `Au 999 7,78g` denoting the metal from which the coin was made, its sample and mass, and the number `2009` denoting the year of coinage. In the upper part there is the inscription `500 TENGE` denoting the denomination of the coin and the logo of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan. On the perimeter of the coin there is a wide, frosted edging, on which is located the circumferential inscription `REPUBLIC OF KAZAKHSTAN` in English.
