| Obverse description | The State Emblem of Kazakhstan occupies the central field, rendered in high relief and depicting a shanyrak (the crown of a yurt) with sunrays above two mythical winged horses (tulpars) flanking a five-pointed star, all above a ribbon inscribed KAZAKHSTAN. Traditional Kazakh ornamental scrollwork decorates the left and right fields. The circular legend reads QAZAQSTAN RESPÝBLIKASY to the left and REPUBLIC OF KAZAKHSTAN to the right, while the denomination 500 and the currency designation TEŃGE appear in the lower field, separated by raised dots. |
