| Reverse description | The reverse presents a stylised gold-plated elk's head rendered in the traditional Scythian-Saka animal art style, centrally positioned against a dark matte field. The motif is an openwork ornamental plaque design with sinuous curves and scrollwork characteristic of ancient Kazakh nomadic goldsmith craftsmanship. A small spiral ornament appears above the central device. The surrounding circular legend, inscribed along the inner border of the dodecagonal frame, reads in Kazakh Cyrillic 'КӨШПЕНДІЛЕР АЛТЫНЫ' and 'БҰЛАННЫҢ БАСЫ', and in Latin script 'THE GOLD OF NOMADS' and 'ELK'S HEAD', with the year '2011' also incorporated in the legend. |
