| Obverse description | Green letterpress certificate on cream paper with ornate guilloche border framing the central text block. Denomination '500' appears in large numerals at left and right, with 'FIVE HUNDRED RUPEES' in bold letterpress across the upper register. The body carries the Government of India contractual undertaking, with spaces for post office, issue date, and register number at foot, countersigned by the Postmaster under a circular date-stamp. |
