| Obverse description | At centre, the Soviet state arms — hammer and sickle within a wreath of wheat ears — serve as the principal vignette, flanked on either side by the large numeral '500'; the inscription РАСЧЕТНЫЙ ЗНАК runs above the arms and РУБЛЕЙ appears below on both sides, with the date 1921 directly beneath the vignette. A circular violet rubber overprint stamp of the Yakut Republic is applied over the central design as a local authorisation mark, and the full denomination ПЯТЬСОТ РУБЛЕЙ is repeated in the top and bottom ornate border panels. |
