| Obverse description | Printed on silk fabric with a pale green ground, the note is framed by a decorative border of repeating foliate and geometric motifs in dull rose. The central field carries the denomination in Cyrillic — РУБЛЕЙ 500 РУБЛЕЙ — beneath a large arched panel of Arabic-script text, with serial numbers in cartouches at upper left and right. Additional lines of Arabic and Cyrillic inscriptions occupy the lower portion, the whole composition reflecting the mixed Turkic-Soviet administrative character of the issuing republic. |
