Reverse description The Colombian national coat of arms occupies the central field, depicting a quartered shield surmounted by a condor with outstretched wings, flanked by two crossed flags draped at either side, with a Phrygian cap above a cornucopia and a pomegranate plant in the upper quarters, and an isthmus with sea and sky in the lower quarter; a ribbon inscribed LIBERTAD Y ORDEN appears across the shield. The denomination QUINIENTOS PESOS arcs along the left and right periphery in bold lettering, with LEY 0,900 inscribed above the coat of arms and the numeral 500 in large figures at the base. A beaded border frames the entire design, with small five-pointed stars distributed around the lower portion of the inner border.
