Reverse description Printed in lilac, the reverse is dominated by an elaborate guilloche framework with the national Coat of Arms — a five-pointed star surrounded by a wreath and flanked by flags — set within a circular vignette at centre. The denomination numeral 500 appears in each corner and at top centre, with the printer's imprint of the American Bank Note Company, New York, at the bottom margin.
