Obverse description	The obverse is printed in green and black on white paper, centered on a large vignette of the Banco Internacional de Guatemala circular seal framed by crossed national flags including the Guatemalan and American flags, with a sailing ship above. Denomination numerals '500' appear in ornate guilloche panels at left and right, with the serial number 'No 16312' printed twice in red at top. The legend 'EL BANCO INTERNACIONAL DE GUATEMALA' arcs across the top, with 'Pagará al portador' and 'en moneda efectiva' flanking the central vignette, and 'Quinientos Pesos' inscribed below; the note is dated 'Octubre 23 de 1920' at lower right, with manuscript signatures of the Directores and Gerente along the bottom edge.
