| Reverse description | Central field bears a right-facing profile depiction of a Triceratops (Ceratopsia), rendered in low relief with characteristic three-horned skull and frill clearly delineated. The denomination 500 Pesetas appears in the upper field above the dinosaur, while the legend ANIMALES PREHISTORICOS curves along the lower-left edge of the rhombus flan. The composition fills the diamond-shaped field with a clean, uncluttered arrangement suited to the fantasy coin series. |

| Additional information |
Western Sahara has no functioning government with minting authority — the territory remains disputed between Morocco, which administers most of it, and the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic, recognized by some states but controlling only a thin strip near the Algerian border. Coins issued under the "Western Sahara" name are produced by private minting companies, typically in Eastern Europe, for the souvenir and novelty market. They have never circulated and were never intended to.
