The "Printed: 30.04.1945" date in this catalog entry is almost certainly a data error — the note was issued in 1980 by the República Popular de Moçambique, the Frelimo-governed state established after independence from Portugal in 1975. Thomas De La Rue handled much of the early postcolonial printing for Mozambique, as was common for newly independent African states without domestic printing infrastructure.
Pick 127 is a single-date issue. Surviving examples sometimes show ink offset on the reverse, a known characteristic of the 1980 De La Rue print run for this series.
