Reverse description The reverse, rendered entirely in olive-green intaglio, is dominated by a large central vignette of the Finnish coat of arms — the crowned lion rampant on a shield — set against a naturalistic background of sweeping pine branches. Flanking the central device are two tall ornamental pillar motifs, and the denomination numeral '500' appears twice at lower left and right in large bold figures, with a further '500' repeated in each upper corner. The year '1922' is inscribed at the foot of the design, and the whole composition is enclosed within a guilloche border matching the obverse.
