Obverse description Within a raised inner circle, a large Ottoman-script calligraphic inscription in the field reads 'Ankara 23 April 1336' (referencing the founding date of the Grand National Assembly). A crescent opens upward above the inscription, with a five-pointed star positioned at its apex. The entire design is enclosed by a recessed border ring and an outer milled edge of fine denticles.

Reverse description A bold Ottoman-script calligraphic legend reading 'Türkiye Cumhuriyeti' (Republic of Turkey) occupies the central field, with the Western-numeral date 1927 inscribed below. The inscription is framed by an ornate wreath composed of oak branches with acorns on the upper sides and wheat ears on the lower sides, tied at the base with a ribbon bow. The entire design is enclosed within a fine milled border of denticles.
