| Obverse description | Central device depicts a kneeling female figure, a traditional Croatian reaper woman, rendered in high relief in a folkloristic style by engraver Ivo Kerdić. She is dressed in regional peasant attire and holds a large sheaf of harvested wheat in her right arm, with a sickle resting at her feet alongside a gathered bundle of grain. Two small stylised trefoil or floral ornaments appear in the left field. The curved legend NEZ. DRZ. HRVATSKA arcs around the upper and right periphery in bold Latin letters, while the date 1941 is inscribed along the lower exergual area. |

Below the denomination, the mint mark of the Zagreb Mint appears as a stylised ornamental device surmounting the Croatian coat of arms, rendered as the traditional red-and-white chequered shield (šahovnica).
