| Obverse description | The obverse features a detailed frontal view of Pha That Luang, the iconic gilded Buddhist stupa of Vientiane, rendered in high relief against a mirror-polished field. The monument is depicted with its distinctive central spire, surrounding smaller stupas, and ornate gateway entrance at the base.
