| Obverse description | Intaglio portrait of King Sisavang Vatthana in military uniform at left, set against a fine guilloche underprint in rose-red. A vignette of a traditional Lao Buddhist temple with characteristic tiered roof occupies the centre-right of the note. The bank title in Lao script runs along the top border, with the denomination expressed in Lao numerals and script at lower right; two signature lines labelled "UN CENSEUR" and "LE GOUVERNEUR" appear beneath a multicolour rosette at upper centre. |
