| Obverse description | Central design features a stylized Olympic flame torch from which the five Olympic rings emerge at the top, flanked on either side by athletic figures in motion — a runner to the left and a gymnast to the right — rendered in a dynamic, modern style. A five-pointed star appears on the body of the torch. Below the torch, a rectangular cartouche displays the year '1980' in large numerals. The curved legend 'REPUBLIQUE D'HAITI' arcs along the upper periphery, while 'OLYMPIADE - MOSCOU' is inscribed along the lower portion, all within a beaded border. |
