| Obverse description | The national coat of arms of Cameroon is depicted centrally in the field, featuring a shield with a scales of justice emblem, flanked by crossed fasces and surmounted by a five-pointed star. Above the shield, the bilingual motto appears in two languages: 'PAIX TRAVAIL PATRIE' in French and 'PEACE WORK FATHERLAND' in English, arranged on either side of the year of issue '2020'. The circular legend 'REPUBLIQUE DU CAMEROUN' arcs along the upper periphery, while the denomination '500 FRANCS CFA' is inscribed along the lower portion of the coin.
