| Obverse description | The national coat of arms of Cameroon occupies the central field, depicting a shield charged with scales of justice surmounted by a five-pointed star, flanked by crossed fasces. Above the shield, the national motto appears in bilingual form: PAIX TRAVAIL PATRIE to the left and PEACE WORK FATHERLAND to the right. The circular legend REPUBLIQUE DU CAMEROUN arcs along the upper rim, while the denomination 500 FRANCS CFA is prominently inscribed along the lower rim. The date 2021 appears in the upper field above the arms, and the silver fineness mark Ag 999 is noted in the lower left field. The mint mark MW appears discreetly near the base of the arms. |
