| Obverse description | The national coat of arms of Cameroon is depicted at centre, featuring a shield bearing a scales of justice surmounted by a five-pointed star, flanked by crossed fasces with axe heads and supported by a scroll, all rendered in high relief against a decoratively engraved wavy field divided diagonally between polished proof and blackened sections. The bilingual country name legend REPUBLIQUE DU CAMEROUN arcs along the left rim, with the motto PAIX / PEACE and PATRIE / FATHERLAND flanking the shield, and TRAVAIL / WORK inscribed above.
