| Obverse description | The Coat of Arms of Cameroon is featured centrally in the inner field, flanked by the mint mark and fineness designation. Surrounding the central motif, twelve decorative panels arranged around the rim each bear a finely engraved floral motif in high relief, rendered against a contrasting frosted or polished background. The legend REPUBLIQUE DU CAMEROUN arcs across the upper portion of the coin, while the denomination 500 FRANCS CFA is inscribed across the lower field. The fineness mark AG 999 appears above the coat of arms, and the year of issue 2020 is struck below it. |
