| Additional information |
Cameroon has issued collector-targeted silver pieces under its own authority since the early 2000s, though the actual striking is invariably contracted to European private mints — this piece almost certainly produced by B.H. Mayer's Kunstprägeanstalt in Munich or a comparable facility, with no meaningful connection to the Banque des États de l'Afrique Centrale's day-to-day operations. The embedded Swarovski crystal is a sales feature, not a numismatic one; Swarovski has licensed its name to dozens of such issues across multiple nominal issuers throughout the 2010s.
