| Obverse description | The coin is struck in the form of an ornate skeleton key. The bow of the key features elaborate interlaced scrollwork and filigree arabesques filling the field. The denomination '500 francs CFA' is inscribed in a curved legend across the upper portion of the bow, while the issuing authority 'REPUBLIQUE DU CAMEROUN' and the date '2017' appear along the shank and bit of the key. The mintmaster mark 'mw' for the Mint of Poland is also present. |
