| Obverse description | Central field features the coat of arms of Cameroon — a shield bearing a map of the country surmounted by a star, flanked by crossed fasces and supported by a scroll — set within a recessed disc. Surrounding the central device, the bilingual national motto is inscribed in the field: PAIX / PEACE to the left and TRAVAIL / WORK and PATRIE / FATHERLAND to the right. The legend REPUBLIQUE DU CAMEROUN arcs above, with the denomination 500 FRANCS CFA below it, and the date 2021 appears to the lower left alongside the fineness mark Ag999 and the Mint of Poland mintmark (MW) to the lower right. The outer border is composed of a raised beaded ring encircling an annular band engraved with all twelve zodiac symbols in relief, imparting an astrological thematic frame to the design. |

| Reverse description | The reverse depicts two intertwined multicolored snakes (Serpentes sp.) rendered in vivid polychrome enamel coloring, coiled upon a circular disc that is further decorated with the twelve zodiac signs arranged around the perimeter. Lunar phase symbols are distributed across the field, reinforcing the celestial and astrological theme of the series. The serpents' sinuous forms are rendered in high relief, with detailed scale texturing, and their intertwining bodies form a dynamic, symmetrical composition at the center of the disc. |
