| Obverse description | The obverse is struck in the form of a postcard back, rendered in antique silver finish with a brushed field. At upper right, a postage stamp in high relief depicts the effigy of Queen Elizabeth II in right-facing profile, surrounded by a decorative border bearing the legends 'REPUBLIQUE DU CAMEROUN', '500 FRANCS CFA', and 'HO HO HO', with a circular postmark cancellation overlapping the stamp.
