| Obverse description | The obverse features the coat of arms of Cameroon at center, depicting a shield with scales of justice flanked by two supporters above a scroll bearing the bilingual motto. Surrounding the central device are the curved inscriptions 'REPUBLIQUE DU CAMEROUN' at top and 'REPUBLIQUE DU CAMEROUN' at bottom, with the denomination '500 FRANCS CFA' prominently displayed in the upper field. The date '2025' appears to the lower left of the arms, with the fineness mark 'Ag 999' and mint mark 'mw' to the lower right. The bilingual motto words 'PAIX / PEACE', 'TRAVAIL / WORK', and 'PATRIE / FATHERLAND' are inscribed flanking the shield. An outer border ring is decorated with all twelve zodiac symbols in relief. |

| Additional information |
The BEAC issues commemorative silver under a constellation series that has become a reliable annual program — Virgo is one of twelve planned types. These coins are struck for the collector market and carry no meaningful circulation history; they are legal tender in the six CEMAC member states in name only.
