| Obverse description | Central field features the coat of arms of Cameroon, depicting a shield with a balance scale, flanked by two axe-bearing supporters and surmounted by a star, with the national motto rendered bilingually: PAIX TRAVAIL PATRIE and PEACE WORK FATHERLAND. The denomination 500 FRANCS CFA and the legend REPUBLIQUE DU CAMEROUN arc across the upper portion of the central medallion. The date 2025 appears to the lower left and the silver fineness mark Ag 999 with the Mint of Poland mintmark (mw) to the lower right. The broad outer border is divided into twelve segments, each bearing one of the twelve zodiac symbols in relief, framed by a beaded inner ring and multiple concentric milled borders. |
