Reverse description The entire reverse field is covered with a densely packed, high-relief bouquet of roses rendered in vivid crimson coloring applied over the silver-plated copper flan. Dozens of individually sculpted rose blossoms, each displaying tightly coiled spiral petals, fill the circular field from edge to edge without any inscriptions or legends. The three-dimensional modeling of each bloom is exceptionally detailed, with the applied color graduating subtly across the petals to convey depth and naturalism. The smooth raised rim frames the composition, providing a clean boundary to the all-over floral design.

Additional information

Chad issues coins through the Banque des États de l'Afrique Centrale, which serves the six-nation CFA franc zone — meaning this piece carries the monetary authority of a regional central bank rather than a purely national one. Large-format silver-plated copper issues of this type are produced almost exclusively for the collector market, with no realistic circulation history.
