| Obverse description | A highly detailed composition fills the mirror-polished field, depicting seven Russian wildlife animals in high relief: a roaring brown bear dominates the centre, flanked by a stag (upper left), a moose (upper right), a roe deer (lower left), a lynx (lower left foreground), a wolf (lower right), a capercaillie (upper right foreground), and a bird of prey. The Cameroonian coat of arms appears in an inset cartouche at lower centre, encircled by the bilingual legend REPUBLIC OF CAMEROON above and REPUBLIQUE DU CAMEROUN below.
