| Obverse description | The coat of arms of Cameroon is centrally displayed in the field, depicting a shield charged with scales of justice and surmounted by a five-pointed star, flanked by two crossed fasces with axe heads. The bilingual motto appears on either side of the arms: PAIX / PEACE to the left and TRAVAIL / WORK at centre top and PATRIE / FATHERLAND to the right. The circular legend REPUBLIQUE DU CAMEROUN arcs along the upper rim, with the denomination 500 FRANCS CFA inscribed along the lower rim. The date 2026 appears in the centre field above the arms, and the purity mark Ag 999 is inscribed at the lower left near the base of the shield. |
