| Obverse description | A highly detailed proof composition featuring seven Russian wildlife animals in high relief against a mirror-polished field: a roaring bear dominates the centre, flanked by a stag and a moose in the upper register, with a lynx and a wolf in the lower register, and a capercaillie and a smaller deer completing the group. In the lower centre, a circular cartouche bears the Cameroonian coat of arms — a shield with scales of justice, flanked by crossed fasces — surrounded by the legend REPUBLIC OF CAMEROON and REPUBLIQUE DU CAMEROUN.
