| Obverse description | Central field features the Cameroonian national coat of arms — a shield bearing scales of justice surmounted by a star, flanked by fasces — rendered in high relief. Above the arms, the legend REPUBLIQUE DU CAMEROUN arches across the upper field, with the denomination 500 FRANCS CFA inscribed below. The mottos TRAVAIL / WORK and PATRIE / FATHERLAND appear to either side of the arms in bilingual French and English. The date 2025 is positioned to the left of the arms, with the fineness and mint mark AG 999 MW to the right. The outer border is formed by a raised beaded ring enclosing all twelve zodiac symbols in relief, arranged around the circumference. |
