| Obverse description | The obverse displays the coat of arms of Cameroon centrally, featuring a shield bearing scales of justice surmounted by a five-pointed star, flanked by two crossed fasces, set against a field of undulating wavy lines rendered in gold and black. The bilingual national motto appears in the upper field in two registers: TRAVAIL / WORK across the top centre, with PAIX / PEACE to the left and PATRIE / FATHERLAND to the right. The legend REPUBLIQUE DU CAMEROUN arcs along the upper rim, while the denomination 500 FRANCS CFA is inscribed in bold relief along the lower rim. The date 2025 appears centrally above the arms, and the fineness mark Ag 999 is noted to the lower left of the shield. The entire design is executed in proof quality with a gold-plated finish over a contrasting dark background. |

| Reverse description | The reverse is dominated by a central domed magnifying lens bearing a full-colour reproduction of Edouard Manet's still-life painting depicting a bouquet of red and pink peonies arranged in a round glass vase, rendered with vivid painterly detail against a dark background. The central medallion is framed by an elaborate border of intricately engraved gold-plated acanthus scrollwork and foliate rococo ornamentation, occupying the full width of the field. The background surrounding the decorative border is finished in high-gloss black, creating a strong contrast with the gilt relief. No legends or inscriptions appear on the reverse. The overall composition presents an artistic tour-de-force combining fine art reproduction with exceptional medallic craftsmanship. |
