The "Adoration of the Madonna" belongs to a long-running category of Vatican-adjacent devotional issues struck for sub-Saharan African states — Cameroon included — that have no meaningful domestic circulation and are produced almost exclusively for the European collector market. The arrangement is straightforward: a sovereign mint licenses the issuing authority's name, strikes the coin abroad, and the issuing country receives a fee while assuming no distribution responsibility.
KM#759 does not appear in earlier Krause printings, which places it firmly in the post-2020 expansion of Cameroon's numismatic program — a period during which the number of licensed collector issues roughly tripled.
