| Obverse description | Central shield displaying the national coat of arms of Cameroon, featuring a balance scale on a blue field surmounted by a five-pointed star, flanked by crossed fasces. The motto is rendered bilingually in three panels above the shield: 'PAIX / PEACE' at left, 'TRAVAIL / WORK' at center, and 'PATRIE / FATHERLAND' at right.
