Reverse description A detailed intaglio vignette of Sárospatak Castle fills the upper and central portion of the reverse, rendered with fine line engraving showing the medieval keep alongside the Renaissance residential wing amid landscaped grounds and trees. The title inscription A SÁROSPATAKI VÁR is set at the upper centre, while a circular guilloche medallion bearing the numeral 500 anchors the lower right. The denomination ÖTSZÁZ FORINT appears in large lettering along the bottom, with the overall design executed in violet and rose tones over a light guilloche underprint.
