| Obverse description | The hexagonal obverse features a bold geometric inner frame composed of intersecting diagonal lines, creating a faceted, Art Deco-inspired field. At center, the denomination legend EURO 500 is prominently rendered in large serif lettering, flanked by a sprig of olive leaves above and an oak branch with acorns below, both rendered in fine relief as symbols of the French Republic. The curved legend RÉPUBLIQUE FRANÇAISE arcs along the left and lower periphery of the inner frame.
