| Obverse description | The obverse of this rhombus-shaped gold proof coin displays the coat of arms of the Republic of Palau centrally, depicting Neptune enthroned amid the sea, flanked by two dugongs, with a star compass above and the motto RAINBOW'S END inscribed on a ribbon below the shield. A traditional Palauan outrigger canoe appears above the shield. Eight six-pointed stars are arranged in a semicircular arc around the coat of arms in the field.
