| Obverse description | The Public Seal of Niue is depicted centrally, featuring a circular indigenous design motif enclosed within a radiating sunburst border, surmounted by a St. Edward's Crown. The seal is flanked on either side by an olive wreath, and two crossed traditional spears appear in the lower field. A ribbon below the seal bears the motto ATUA NIUE TUKULAGI. The curved legend PUBLIC SEAL OF NIUE arcs above the central device, while the denomination 500 DOLLARS and the date 2024 are inscribed along the upper rim. |

| Reverse description | Two orca whales (killer whales) are depicted in dynamic motion rising from stylised ocean waves rendered in the lower portion of the field: a large adult orca leaps powerfully to the upper left, while a smaller calf emerges from the waves below and to the right. The compositions naturalistic detail captures the characteristic black-and-white patterning of the species in relief.
