Obverse description The coat of arms of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina occupies the upper central field, depicted as a shield bearing a diagonal band charged with six fleurs-de-lis, flanked by elaborate foliate mantling. Below the arms, a finely detailed view of the Old Bridge (Stari Most) of Mostar is rendered in low relief, with traditional Ottoman-style buildings visible on either bank. The circular legend REPUBLIKA BOSNA I HERCEGOVINA runs along the upper periphery in Latin characters, flanked at the base by two small fleur-de-lis ornaments. The date 1995 appears in large raised numerals along the lower rim.
