| Reverse description | A gold-plated three-dimensional horse (Equus ferus caballus) is depicted in a prancing pose facing right, its body densely set with green and white Czech Pavé gemstones in a rich decorative style. The Chinese character 壽 (longevity) appears to the upper left of the horse, and the character 馬 (horse) is inscribed on a square cartouche beneath the animal. A traditional Chinese gate with lion guardians is rendered in gold-plated relief to the right. The legend YEAR OF THE HORSE arcs along the upper rim, with LONGEVITY inscribed in the upper field, and the date 2014 appears in the lower exergue. |
