| Reverse description | The niobium centre depicts a detailed relief representation of the Temple of Artemis at Ephesus, showing the grand colonnade facade of the ancient Greek temple with its numerous columns, steps, and surrounding landscape elements in an artistic scenic composition. The silver outer ring carries the arc legend SEVEN WONDERS OF THE ANCIENT WORLD along the upper periphery and TEMPLE OF ARTEMIS along the lower periphery. The contrasting warm brown tone of the niobium centre against the silver ring creates a striking bimetallic visual effect. |

| Additional information |
Part of Rwanda's Seven Wonders of the Ancient World series, this issue commemorates the Temple of Artemis at Ephesus — a structure rebuilt at least three times on the same site, the most famous version destroyed by arson in 356 BC by a man who burned it specifically to immortalize his name. Herostratus. The Ephesians reportedly banned anyone from ever speaking it, a prohibition that obviously failed.
The niobium core is anodized to produce a specific color distinct to this denomination within the series — a controlled oxidation process that gives each release its characteristic hue without pigment or plating.
