| Obverse description | Printed in black letterpress on cream paper, the obverse carries the issuer's name 'Stadt Uerdingen' in Gothic blackletter across the top margin, with the denomination 'FÜNF HUNDERT TAUSEND MARK' set in bold architectural block lettering within a multi-rule border and oval guilloche underprint at centre. Two vertical cartouches flank the central panel, each enclosing a haloed ecclesiastical figure standing above an oval bearing the city arms. The lower portion carries the authorisation text, the date inscription 'Uerdingen am Rhein den 15. August 1923', the Bürgermeister's facsimile signature, and the printer's imprint 'L.
