| Obverse description | Blue letterpress Notgeld gutschein on pale paper, framed by an elaborate guilloche border of interlocking rosettes and scrollwork. The denomination 'Fünfhunderttausend Mark' is set in bold Fraktur script at centre over a large underprint numeral '500000', with validity and payment clauses in smaller Fraktur type above and below. The issuing authority 'Der Stadtrat' with a manuscript signature appears at lower right, dated Crimmitschau, 31. Juli 1923. |
