| Obverse description | Notgeld (emergency money) issued on cream-coloured paper with a teal-green guilloche border framing the main text field. The denomination "Fünfhundert Millionen Mark" is set in large Gothic blackletter script at centre, above a validity clause and the issue date of 12 October 1923. A vertical side panel at right carries the numeral "500" and the word "MILLIONEN" in bold upright lettering, flanked by ornamental lozenge vignettes; the printer's imprint "RATS-DRUCKEREI GLAUCHAU" appears at lower left. |
