| Reverse description | Uniformly printed in dark brick-red on cream paper, the reverse carries an elaborate guilloche underprint of interlocking circular rosette patterns filling the entire field, with repeating microtext reading 'Gutschein der Stadt Solingen' woven throughout. A central cartouche with ornate shaped frame contains the issuer name 'Stadt Solingen' above the large numeral denomination '500.000.000' and the word 'Mark' below. The outer border repeats the legend 'GUTSCHEIN * DER * STADT * SOLINGEN' on all four sides with the denomination value along the vertical margins, the bottom portion inverted. Below the design, outside the border, the anti-counterfeiting warning 'NACHAHMUNG STRAFBAR!' is printed in red. |
