| Obverse description | Single-sided Notgeld printed in brown on plain paper within a double-rule border. The left two-thirds carries the denomination in bold blackletter script — 'Fünfhundert Millionen Mk' — above a cursive text block stating the obligation of the three cities and the issue date of 25 September 1923, followed by three facsimile signatures of the respective Oberbürgermeisters. The upper right quadrant bears a large numeral '500' with 'Millionen' below in an outlined guilloche panel, while a vertical hatched underprint panel at the right carries the serial number; the denomination '500 Millionen' is repeated inverted along the bottom margin. |
